We are pleased to announce that Elektrometal Energetyka at the 37th Energetab 2024 International Energy Fair in Bielsko-Biała received the Kazimierz Szpotański Golden Lion Award for the outstanding product ‘System for Detection and Elimination of Ferroresonance Phenomenon in e²TANGO Bay Controllers and MV Switchgear’ awarded by the fair committee.

‘Arrangement for detection….’ is an innovative solution consisting of ferroresonance protection in the e²TANGO bay controller, working together with a power module located in the low voltage compartment of the switchgear.

The Commission praised a unique product on the market, allowing not only the detection of the ferroresonance phenomenon occurring in switchgear bays, but also the elimination of its undesirable effects, including, among others, damage to voltage transformers. The effectiveness of the solution is evidenced by examples of tripping of the system used in customer facilities in recent years.
