APPLICATION

The e²TANGO-200 protection unit is available exclusively in the ODR version, designed for stand-alone operation in a transformer bay of medium-voltage networks. It provides a complete set of protection and protection automation functions required for the protection and control of this type of bay.

CONSTRUCTION

The e²TANGO-200 protection unit is equipped with a 4 × 20-character alphanumeric OLED display and an 8-button keypad, providing convenient operation. The front panel features 7 LED indicators (4 red and 3 dual-colour red/green LEDs) for visual indication of the device status. Additionally, two F1 and F2 function buttons are provided, each with a dedicated dual-colour LED indicator. Their functions can be assigned by the user. Above the function buttons, there are two red LED indicators or, optionally, two electromechanical indicators, enabling status indication even after loss of the auxiliary supply voltage. The protection unit operates autonomously and is equipped with an additional circuit-breaker trip output for a sensitive trip coil. It can also be fitted with a capacitor energy storage module, allowing the circuit breaker to be tripped even in the event of a power supply failure. A dedicated label pocket is provided on the relay front panel for descriptions of the function buttons and LED/electromechanical indicators.

SOFTWARE

The e²TANGO-200 is compatible with the e²TANGO-Studio engineering software, which is dedicated to device operation and serves as a tool for its configuration. Measured values and event history can be read out, and events can be acknowledged (trip status reset), via the communication interfaces using the e²TANGO-Studio software.
