The strategic goal of the project is to increase competitiveness on the industry market by introducing to the offer and implementing advanced solutions and safety systems for high and medium voltage stations.

Project implemented under Measure 1.2 “Research and development activity of enterprises”

The subject of the work in the project is to introduce to the market a series of products based on innovations supporting the operation and operation of HV / MV stations in the area of safety, prevention and efficiency.

Project value: PLN 6 752 187.60

Eligible expenditure: PLN 6,664,695.60

Co-financing requested: PLN 4,990,507.54

The project is carried out in partnership with two R&D units: the Electrotechnical Institute and the Kozminski University.

Project implementation period: January 2019 – June 2021

Development and verification in real conditions of advanced solutions and security systems of high / medium voltage stations, equipped with predictive mechanisms based on artificial intelligence algorithms.

The subject of work in the project is to develop a family of HV and MV protection devices equipped with the possibility of predicting failures of appropriate system components based on advanced predictive models, i.e. artificial intelligence algorithms (predictive maintanance). Additionally, the aim is to equip these HV and MV protections with the functionality of quick failure detection. In combination with the new, hybrid and ultra-fast close-circuit breaker, it will allow to react quickly to identified failures and minimize their negative effects.

PROJECT CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION FROM THE SMART GROWTH OPERATIONAL PROGRAMME

Project implemented as part of the National Center for Research and Development competition “Path for Mazovia”

Beneficiary: Elektrometal Energetyka SA

Total project value: PLN 9,005,840.00

“Development of an integrated platform based on e2Tango software remote testing algorithms”

The aim of the project is to design and create an integrated internet platform for remote testing of the software that controls our protection relays from e2Tango family.

The project will lead to development of an interface with remote access. We will use an algorithm that enables access to the system by entering a code disposable in the form of an electronic token. As a result, the user will get remote access to test protection relay without necessity of sending there a device.

„Construction of integrated systems supporting and optimizing work and safety of the MV switchgear”

The project consists in carrying out research works aimed at preparing ready-made solutions supporting operation and exploitation of MV switchgears (MV -Medium Voltage) in the area of safety, prevention and performance. The designed tools at the moment of their implementation for production will be offered to customers independently (complete switchgears) as well as individual components compatible with existing switchgears on the market.

Thanks to parameterized functionalities, they will ensure reliability and service safety, and in the event of a sudden failure they will eliminate situations related to the operators’ life exposures. In addition to the above, the functionalities will allow for full identification of events and processes taking place during operation of the switchgear and simpler supervision, operation and maintenance of devices supporting the distribution of electricity. In addition, solutions will be introduced to increase the current efficiency of switchgears.

The scope of works is a response to market needs related to the current state of energy infrastructure in Poland and the world and the pursuit of increasing reliability of power supply, productivity and equipment efficiency as well as problems with experienced and qualified staff servicing switchgears and the network. The devices introduced to the market will be fully adapted to work in SMART GRID networks.

The works carried out by the Consortium (Elektrometal Energetyka, Electrotechnical Institute) will be completed with patent applications and the creation of an industrial design. The research areas indicated in the project were developed on the basis of the previous experience of members and the leader of the consortium, whose last implemented research results have been rewarded with the Gold Medal of the ENERGETAB 2015 fair (eg: the family of universal e²TANGO bay controllers).

As a result of the works, will be created an Integrated control and distribution (ICD) safety system.

for development of Mazovia

Within EU subsidies we are implementing a project:

‘Implementation of research results and the launch of an innovative range of products’

Within the project we have purchased equipment, which is necessary for modernization of our Production- and Research and Development Departments. Thanks to the projct investments we are introducing innovative products, which include among others MV bay controller devices that integrate security, managing, registration and control features in the MV switchgear bays. A key element of them are protection systems as on their quick and effective action depends the safety of personnel as well as an uninterrupted energy supply. Bay controllers which have been designed in our company are based on intelligent protection algorithms which allow shorter reaction time. The integration of additional functions will lower the cost of the final product. Extensive protection and control functions are increasing  the level of security by eliminating unauthorized access and implementation of interlocks preventing incorrect switching operations. A modern user interface and powerful engineering tools will facilitate configuration, operation and daily maintenance of the equipment. The modular design allows an easy device adaption to  the specific customer requirements.
